Art Protection & Care
Your piece is as fragile as it looks, but don't fret!! Certain steps can be taken in order to preserve it. Humidity and excessive temperatures (both hot and cold) can cause your piece to degrade and, while permanent archival ink is used in the production of the artwork, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight will cause marker and watercolor paint to fade. For best results, framing with UV glass as well as displaying or storing your piece in a dry, temperature-controlled place are recommended. Fixatives and sealers may also be used to preserve pieces with pencil and color with proper application. Consult a framing professional for additional guidance.
